Beagle - Nyko - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog

Nyko will be available for adoption as soon as we track down his owner who abandoned him. This two-year-old Beagle/Shar Pei mix is friendly with other dogs, neutered and microchipped. This dog was relinquished to us late last year because his owner became homeless. I remember the day like it was yesterday, it was a weeknight, an hour after closing and when leaving I find a girl in the parking lot crying wtih Nyko. A month or so after being relinquished Nyko won the lottery by being selected to go to Vet Tech Institute for "the works." While at Vet Tech the owner resurfaces and HAD to have her dog back. We were able to get the shelters dog back earlier than scheduled from Vet Tech. So, now we find the dog abandoned. Argh...poor Nyko, he's lost a few pounds, a little nervous, but he'll be ok. If we haven't tracked her down by October 29 (Monday) the dog will be availble for adoption on that day. His adoption fee has been waived making him free to a forever home.
