Kenny knows how to hold 'em | Gympie Music | Music Reviews ...
ANOTHER huge crowd rocked out on The Hill last night when the effervescent Beccy Cole brought the house down with her energetic and "real" brand of music, singing some of the most personal songs she has ever written from her new album as well as plenty of old favourites.
Despite predictions of a possible storm, thousands of campers and visitors poured into the grounds for the second big day and night of entertainment yesterday.
And today it just gets better, with Muster favourite Lee Kernaghan taking to the stage at 8.45pm at the end of a stellar line-up on Main Stage that includes the Sunny Cowgirls and McAllister Kemp.
In the Blues Bar tonight you will catch Nick Barker and the Reptiles, Wagons and Kelly's Heroes and over in the Crowbar will be Gympie favourite Luella and the Heelers, King Cannons and Trainwreck.
Tomorrow, Adam Harvey, John Williamson and, of course, veteran country music great Kenny Rogers are expected to keep a record-breaking crowd on The Hill until late into the night.
Rogers, with his sensational "raspy" voice, has sold more than 120 million records and he has recorded more than 65 albums in his 52 years in show business. His hits include The Gambler, Lady, Lucille, She Believes in Me, and Islands in the Stream.
Over in the Crowbar, the Black Sorrows and Trainwreck will pull their own crowd with their high energy performances.
