What are the best options for dental and vision insurance in Ventura Constituency, CA, ZIP code 930xx?Already have medical (Song of praise PPO). Just asking about dental and vision.

You don?t need vision coverage as it?s not worth it. Dental can be done through Song of praise or you could get Ameritas if you want dental insurance. Other than that you can do money off plans. I have links on my site.

What are some low cost options for dental work for the elderly in Texas? My mother lives near the DFW area (SW of Fort Worth) and needs some teeth extracted & dentures, but she can?t meet the deprivation of the cost.

I am not certain how much I can help. (I am already charitable her my ancient van for her to sell instead of selling it for myself. But it is beaten up & won?t go for much)

I would encourage you to visit this site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago now and they have saved me thousands of dollars on all air force. From root canals, xrays, cleanings, extractions..etc. All air force are built-in. Dentures and showy surgery are also built-in in the plot. They even had my very affordable plot committed in 2 hours and was able to use it the very same day. hope this helps.

I can recommend couple of approaches. Question a dentist in your area that you are willing to pay cash, most doubtless they will give you a money off for it.

If that is not sufficient, another choice is to thought-out dental work in Mexico. You can thought-out requesting a quote for different dentists & place at http://www.medicaltourismco.com/dental.php or some similar dental visiting the attractions source.

What are my career options as a dental assistant?I am currently in school for dental assisting, I will be a certified dental assistant. I am externing in a dental office for 10 weeks and I really dislike dental assisting. I mean I can really tell that this is just not the career for me. My questions are, what else if no matter what thing can I go into career-wise with this?

well, you must?ve gotten out of the program when you knew you didn?t like it.

as for career wise? the only thing i could really tell you is that you could work in different kinds of offices, but not anything further than of dental. you could work with kids or adults or the elderly. or you could work in ortho or all-purpose or oral surgery. i would recommend ortho if you really don?t want to do much.

by the way, you won?t walk out of school as a CERTIFIED dental assistant. i?m guessing you?re not in california since you mentioned certified. when you get out of school, you will need to take your DANB exam to be a certified dental assistant. otherwise, you will just be a dental assistant.

since you said this is beyond doubt not the career for you, maybe you could talk to your school head or talk to the admissions counselors and question them what you could do about transferring to a different program? maybe they will allow you to do medical assisting?

the best in rank i could give you, is to just work the most you could in the field and return to school for a touch else.

if you have any other inquiry, email me.

Try contacting the Local Area Outfit on Aging.

You can find this outfit at the website
Eldercare Locator

If your mom qualifies for Medicaid, then some of the dental work might be enclosed.

Excellent luck to you and your mom!

I would be willing to bet there is a charter that goes to the border with aging that need low-priced dental work. They absolutely do it for prescriptions?Dental charters make impeccably sound sense?

Whats with the dodo who thinks this is only British yahoo?????

I have dwarfed unencumbered incisors & a gap between inner incisors, what dental options could fix this?

Pledge by RDH
If you have peg laterals as well as a diastema and all else is fine, you may want to thought-out veneers or bonding which is less expensive. The dentist needs to determine if the spacing is right for these procedures. You need to thought-out, also, that bonding is not a stable ?fix? for this conundrum since the composite equipment stain and wear out after about 5 to 7 years and need to be replaced.

If there are other chairs or crowding/rotations, you may need to thought-out orthodontic correction as well.

You could do what I did (i had the same situation). I had my front teeth ?bonded?. They apply a notes to the teeth that can be molded to look like a impeccably twisted tooth. Its pretty expensive (between $ 200 and $ 400 per tooth) but FAR less expensive than being paid caps place on.

Dentistry has come a long way. A really excellent dentist who does a lot of showy work, can really just use composite (whte filling notes) to do the work. They will use the teeth that you have and build them up so they grow larger (unencumbered incisors) and to close the diastema in the front. With all the shades they have, they can make (ordinarily) a exact color match to your teeth?but even if they grow different at first, fixed intake and drinking will stain them to match your other teeth surrounded by a small amount of time.
Don?t let a dentist talk you into veneers or crowns, as you will be paying tons more than you need to.
